Copy/Line Editing Services
Copy Editing focuses on grammar, syntax, spelling, and what the author is trying to convey in each sentence. Copy Editing will also help identify: Consistency in spelling, numbers, hyphenation, fonts, capitalization, and internal consistency (i.e., MC has blue eyes, but later in the book has brown.)
Line Editing focuses on each sentence, paragraph, and chapter to ensure fluency. Line Editing will also help identify: redundancies, run-on sentences, passive voice, tightening up sentence structure and paragraphs, and confusing sentences, and paragraphs.
These two work in conjunction with one another and are difficult to separate, so I combine these two for a more perfect edit.
