Developmental Editing is also known as substantive or content editing. I will look at your manuscript as a whole and provide feedback on various elements. For a fiction manuscript, for example, it will be things like pacing, structure, crutch/filler words, inconsistencies, plot, character, and setting. I can help identify stops in flow, confusing sentences, or plots, maybe a phrase or paragraph might be better off in a different place within your manuscript.
